Are you ready to revolutionize the way FanDuel operates and elevate our technology to new heights? As an Enterprise Technology - Staff Automation Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge automation solutions. Your mission? To modernize and streamline our identity management, workplace applications, joiners movers leavers (JML) processes, and the provisioning of workplace IT tools. 

Leveraging your deep expertise in modern SaaS applications such as Jira, Workato, Okta, O365, and more, you will create seamless integrations and drive efficient operations across our entire Enterprise Technology landscape. You will spearhead the automation of our identity management systems, ensuring that every employee has instant and secure access to the tools they need from day one. 

Your innovative solutions will transform our JML processes, making transitions smoother and more efficient than ever before. The impact of automating the provisioning of IT tools will allow our team to focus on delivering best-in-class customer experiences. THE GAME PLAN

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive automation strategies that align with the company's IT and business objectives. Lead the automation roadmap for identity management, workplace applications, and JML processes, enhancing overall operational efficiency.
  • Innovation and Pioneering: Innovate and implement advanced automation solutions to streamline IT processes and workflows. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the Enterprise Technology environment. Lead the development of proof-of-concept projects to explore new automation technologies and methodologies.
  • Technical Mastery: Design, build, and maintain robust automation scripts and workflows using tools like Jira, Workato, Okta, and Office 365. Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of automation solutions. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all automation solutions, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuity.
  • Collaborative Excellence: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, and business units, to gather requirements and deliver automation solutions that meet organizational needs. Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the IT team. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, promoting skill development and growth.
  • Operational Optimization: Automate repetitive tasks and manual processes to reduce operational overhead and increase efficiency. Monitor and optimize automation workflows to ensure smooth and reliable operations. Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively address issues and minimize downtime.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of automation solutions and drive continuous improvement. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis. Conduct regular performance reviews of automation solutions to ensure they meet the desired outcomes.
  • Technology Leadership: Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in automation and Enterprise Technology. Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies that can enhance the IT automation landscape. Participate in industry conferences and workshops to stay ahead of technological advancements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve automation practices and methodologies. Participate in post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement. Implement feedback mechanisms to gather user input and improve automation solutions.

 

THE STATS
What we’re looking for in our next teammate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of identity management, workplace applications, and IT provisioning processes.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Workato, Okta, Office 365, and other modern SaaS applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing automation solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages and automation tools.
  • Experience with identity management, JML processes, and IT provisioning in a corporate setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and projects.
  • Experience in a senior or staff level engineering role with a focus on automation.
  • Advanced knowledge of automation frameworks and best practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices in automation.
  • Proven ability to manage and optimize automation workflows to improve efficiency and reliability.
