THE POSITION

FanDuel is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to join our Account vertical which is responsible for some of our most critical services and complex customer journeys such as user sign-ups, login and verification. You will help to own and drive the technical strategy within your product delivery teams and across the Account vertical as well as owning dedicated feature development work. If you’re looking to exercise and develop your existing core leadership skills both from a technical and people management point of view, then this is the position for you!

  • Manage a dedicated team of Software Engineers in the Account vertical and the hiring of future growth headcount.
  • Develop and grow engineers within your team, providing an outstanding employee experience tailored to their individual needs.
  • Work closely with stakeholders from across FanDuel to help them understand the delivery process and collaborate with Product on a backlog of technical initiatives.

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • We’re looking for experienced managers who enjoy helping and coaching those around them.
  • Have a passion for software delivery and working with other managers to help solve problems.
  • A background in Full Stack software development e.g. Java and AWS native technologies.
  • Experience in defining and implementing software delivery best practices, agile / scrum delivery methodologies and continuous improvement.
  • The ability to grow a team and lead it to success while demonstrating a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.

The applicable salary range for this position is $133,000 - $174,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
