THE POSITION

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Deployment Automation engineering team in our Developer Lifecycle organization. The Deployment Automation team owns and develops the FanDuel Internal Developer Portal (IDP), key development environments, and crucial platform deployment toolchains. In this position, the Software Engineer will:
- Create, extend, and own front end components and screens in the IDP
- Work on backend services supporting the IDP
- Provide integration guidance and support to sibling teams contributing to the IDP
- Support our platform deployment toolchains

- Help us extend our IDP through development and implementation, having significant opportunity to shape the IDP and own significant components
- Own and lead projects related to Deployment Automation’s software and toolchain ownership
- Take part in and help lead conversations to understand stakeholder needs
- Collaborate with various cross-functional software engineering teams to enhance and extend our IDP and deployment experience
- Translate ambiguous and non-ambiguous requirements into actionable work
THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- Strong experience in building and delivering full stack (back end and front end) web application development (e.g. Go, Java, JavaScript, Python, etc..; React, etc…)
- Strong experience with delivering programs and projects via tools like Jira
- Good experience in architecting & designing web applications
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure, preferably AWS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

The applicable salary range for this position is $102,000 - $140,800 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
