THE POSITION:

FanDuel’s VIP operation is looking for someone who wakes up every day and thinks like one of our VIP customers and wants to make our sportsbook the most appealing place to play at volume. This is a strategic position, which will oversee several areas within the VIP team including relationships with retail locations, 3rd party vendors for both customer reward and acquisition, events and hospitality as well as liaising with the wider FanDuel group on opportunities to improve VIP customer experience. We are looking for a person with a genuine passion for the online gambling industry.

THE GAME PLAN:
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Liaise with all areas of the business and identify opportunities and solutions to improve the VIP customer experience
  • Oversee teams dedicated to retail, partnerships and events.
  • Actively engage other areas of the business when highlighting new projects to ensure best practice is followed to deliver intended outcome
  • Manage a small team of VIP Associates who coordinate promotions, events and campaign requests
  • Work on team projects and goals alone or lead projects with smaller scope and/or ambiguity
  • Actively seek out feedback from the team, manager, and stakeholders and use it to make informed decisions
  • Identify barriers that would prevent completion of initiatives and propose solutions to resolve these
  • Liaise directly with high value clients to collect feedback and research
  • Work with acquisition teams to ensure there is a strategic focus on developing channels to acquire VIP customers
  • Has an ambition to learn and improve VIP customer experience

THE STATS:
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum of 4 years of online gaming industry experience preferred
  • Has a high level of empathy towards users’ goals and tasks
  • Ability to identify areas of improvement across the business and make recommendations for potential solutions
  • Ability to follow steps needed to make proposed solutions a reality
  • Advanced understanding of our VIP users and how they use all of our products
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Expert moderator
  • Confidently communicates decision-making rationale to team members and wider teams

The applicable salary range for this position is $103,000 to $129,000 which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation.
