THE POSITION

FanDuel group is looking to add a Senior Product Analyst to join our growing team.  You will be responsible for driving business results and empowering data-driven product decisions with timely insights and thought partnership.  You will be a data evangelist and a champion of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement, ensuring we’re positioned to capitalize on opportunities as they arise. 

THE GAME PLAN
 Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • You will be an expert in analytics, lead experimentation initiatives and contribute to product strategy decisions.   
  • Consistently deliver accurate, timely and high-quality analysis and insights to stakeholders. 
  • As one of the more senior analysts, even though this is not a managerial position, you will play a lead role in a high performing analytics team, providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members. 
  • Demonstrate analytics excellence, innovating in how we access, analyze, and share insights.  
  • Provide support to product leaders and pro-actively partner to leverage customer insights to drive product decisions.   
  • Be an authority for customer behavioral data; using data to reshape our understanding of customer behavior & business performance. 
  • Become a data evangelist in the organization and facilitate the democratization of data across all teams.  
  • Work alongside product, commercial and other teams to help define how to measure success. 
  • Design and lead complex cross-functional experimentation initiatives. 
  • Co-create experiment documentation, best practices and trainings 
  • Partner with product teams to craft high-quality experiments and output insights. 
  • Drive velocity of conclusive experiments with product teams. 

THE STATS
What we’re looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in an analytical position. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or related field. 
  • Sophisticated SQL expertise is required. 
  • Experience with Amplitude Analytics is highly preferred. 
  • Experience with other languages such as R and Python is preferred.  
  • Experience in mentoring and coaching junior analysts is highly preferred. 
  • An excellent understanding of product metrics and the latest techniques in measuring the customer experience and app performance. 
  • Experience with A/B testing & Experimentation methodologies and tools.   
  • Proven track record in the implementation of analytics and measurement solutions in a digital ecosystem
  • Significant experience building intuitive and impactful data visualizations that drive business decisions (e.g., with Tableau, Mode, Amplitude, Adobe, or similar). 
  • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills.  Able to influence decision makers at all levels with data-driven insights.  
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of management. 
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a very fast-paced and changing environment. 
  • Understanding of business priorities and ability to work to meet them. 
  • High level of personal initiative and motivation.
