FanDuel is seeking a Senior Payment Strategy Analyst to partner with the existing teams and drive our payments & fraud vision across all US verticals (Sportsbook, Daily Fantasy, Casino, and Racing) and CAN verticals (Sportsbook, Casino, F2P). This includes working with Finance, Reconciliations, and other teams to optimize payments & fraud costs with the goal of streamlining processes, reducing costs, and improving FanDuel’s bottom line. THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Assist with tracking Payments and Fraud Costs on an intra-month, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Assist with Cost forecasting on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis
  • Partner with Finance and Reconciliation to forecast and reconcile actuals
  • Assist forecasting the impact of operational efficiencies and rate reduction effect on the business
  • Partner with the Product Development team as we roll out new methods & experiences to provide potential cost impact to the business
  • Partner with Data Engineering, and Finance to optimize/automate cost tracking
  • Stay abreast of the payments & fraud landscape, industry, and trends to better inform strategic assessments
  • Understand management team’s defined goals and strategic plans to report and optimize performance

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, statistics or related field; MBA preferred
  • 2+ years of finance experience preferably within the e-commerce, gaming, or financial services industry
  • Strong ability to create presentations, excel models and communications
  • Extremely detail oriented with superb organizational skills
  • Experience and knowledge of financial reporting, cost tracking, with a focus on volumes and rates
  • Excellent knowledge of analytics tools and statistics to make data-driven decisions and drive favorable outcomes
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills that allow effective interactions with business partners
  • Ability to work effectively in an environment of complexity, ambiguity, changing priorities and flex based on demand
  • Ability to balance customer wants and experiences with business finances and commercials
  • Experience and knowledge in payments processing, transactional fraud risk, and/or fraud detection technologies a huge plus
  • Experience in sports betting and online gambling a huge plus

The applicable salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
