THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it
We are currently looking for a research and insights associate to join our FanDuel Canada team! In this role, you will be responsible for conducting deep analysis of internal customer and external consumer data, forming data points into insights, and building sharp reports across Sportsbook and Casino verticals. You will also work closely with various stakeholders within the commercial, marketing, and product teams, while building and maintaining relationships with various external agency partners.
THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play
- Analyze large sets of data to identify key trends and insights
- Support the execution of FanDuel customer surveys including writing questionnaire for the surveys, keeping track of sample completion on the dashboard, partnering with the agency and regular reporting of the data
- Assist in creating presentations and reports for monthly, quarterly scorecards and adhoc studies/requests
- Stay on the pulse with monthly and quarterly brand performance reports
- Work closely with external partners on brand track project and adhoc studies
- Stay up to date with the trends in our industry as well as monitoring competitor activity
- Be organized and attentive to details
- Work closely with brand, media and commercial team to commercialize relevant insights
- Research the market, consumers, and competition to help drive decisions for our sportsbook and casino
- Synthesize data and research findings into actionable recommendations for the stakeholders
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- Degree in Marketing, Math, Finance, or other quantitative fields with a strong GPA preferred
- 2+ years of experience in working on primary quantitative research projects
- Experience in working end to end on primary research projects
- Experience in working with research agencies
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and other data analytical tools
- Basic knowledge of statistical concepts like regression, category drivers, perception analysis
- Previous exposure to qualitative research considered an asset
- Able to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple and simultaneous projects and assignments.
- Natural curiosity to learn about consumer trends and market landscape in gambling industry
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new data visualization tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong project management skills
- Highly organized and motivated
- Understanding of iGaming category considered an asset
- Able to navigate a highly regulated and complex industry
- Knowledge of sports and/or experience working within a heavily regulated industry is a plus

The applicable salary range for this position is $62,000 – $85,800 CAD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand.
