THE POSITION:

We are looking for an intern to join our Racing commercial team to help us continue to build an online experience that’s loved by our users. The commercial team is accountable for our business performance and seeks to raise the bar for customers and for our business performance.

You will work closely with many teams across the organization to optimize and improve our core onsite experiences. A successful candidate will be a self-motivated and organized individual with high attention to detail, can easily problem solve and is able to make quick but well-informed decisions and back them up with data driven results. We are looking to have our interns work in our offices located in either New York or Los Angeles.

THE GAME PLAN:
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Own and execute on 1-2 Racing customer facing initiatives from beginning to end
  • Become an expert of FanDuel racing customer experience end to end and look for improvements to the experience
  • Analyze and recommend improvements to existing processes across various teams including but not limited to Marketing, TV, Product Operations and Customer Operations that reduce customer friction or drive business revenue
  • Obsess over the industry – dissect and present on the competitive landscape, while researching industry trends and new techniques to continuously look for new ways to improve our conversion & retention efforts

THE STATS:
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or Analytical field (or other relevant discipline)
  • December 2023 – May 2024 graduate
  • Experience collaborating closely with other teams
  • Strong communication skills & relationship management
  • Comfortable working with large datasets with proficiency in excel desired
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Customer obsessed
  • Track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment
  • Digital experience a plus
