Product Owner - Marketing Platforms

The Position

FanDuel is looking for a Product Owner to join our Core Marketing Platforms vertical, within the Core Products & Experiences domain where our goal is to provide the best generosity customer experience in the industry.

As Product Owner, you will play a key role in our high performance product delivery teams, collaborating with colleagues in the Product and Software Engineering functions and working with stakeholders from across the global FanDuel business, including our Marketing, Casino and Sportsbook teams, in a fast paced sports tech environment.

You will be responsible for turning product objectives into actionable backlog items in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria, whilst prioritising product backlogs with the aim of streamlining value delivery and maintaining technical integrity of our platforms.

  • Facilitate the smooth flow of value delivery, guiding partners throughout the SDLC ensuring high quality change is delivered
  • Contribute toward the internal FanDuel PO community by promoting industry best practice and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and cross-skilling

What We’re Looking For

You’ll bring experience as a skilled Business Analyst already working in an agile environment, or a Product Owner comfortable getting into the details of technical delivery. It would be a bonus if you have experience of working on MarTech solutions, and know a CDP from a DMP, though league-leading analysis, collaboration and delivery skills are key.

  • Experience of Agile delivery processes used in software or web-based products and an ability to promote this culture
  • Experience conducting stakeholder interviews and facilitating stakeholder workshops
  • Ability to define and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and definition of done processes
  • Adept at working on a daily basis with product, engineering and marketing colleagues
  • Ability to constructively challenge and question as well as actively listen  
  • Is used to working in a fast-paced environment helping to provide clarity to delivery teams when priorities change

Location: Our Scottish tech hub is based in central Edinburgh and is fitted with fabulous amenities including a Gym, showers, bike parking, gaming pods, multiple breakout areas, meeting rooms, a roof terrace and much more. We operate a hybrid model for the majority of our roles, where we normally spend a day or two in the office per week.
