THE POSITION

FanDuel is seeking a Partnerships Senior Manager to lead the marketing efforts of our Canadian business unit. This role will own relationships with sports league and team partnerships, explore and secure new partners & manage existing relationships with regulatory & global partners to drive strategic objectives across our various businesses. This position will also be deeply involved in our Media strategy and our utilization of key media assets within partnerships. You will be a leader in the marketing department, collaborating with your peers to shape break-through marketing initiatives and experiences for partners, fans and users alike.
THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play
- Own the relationship and lead conversations with league, team & other external partners
- Oversee campaign initiatives from strategy through execution and reporting for all FanDuel Group brands ensuring KPIs are met while ensuring that both FanDuel and partners fulfill obligations in accordance of contractual agreements
- Provide thought-leadership on measuring the effectiveness of campaigns based on business objectives and partner with analytics teams to build measurement and reporting
- Proactively seek opportunities to improve current ways of working while fostering and strengthening partner relationships across the FanDuel Group and our professional sports partners
- Iterate and improve current ways of working and gain adoption of new practices both internally and externally
- Serve as leader and "catalyst" who brings big ideas and inspires others to deliver best in class marketing
- Lead external agency partners and internal creative partners on strategy, execution, and optimization,
- looking for unique ways to use data to create bespoke digital experiences and increase personalization
- Keep the marketing leadership and senior leadership apprised of plans and results
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge of business objectives across the group recommending priority calls about opportunities to achieve the goals with allocated resources
THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing with a focus on external partner-facing roles
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing multi-tiered team required
- Media experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- Must live in Toronto, or be willing to relocate to Toronto
- Proven experience running marketing campaigns, timelines and deployment in a robust business required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Expert in managing concurrent projects in an ever-evolving, fast paced landscape while maintaining excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience working with project management and testing tools like Asana and Optimizely a plus
- Knowledge of sports or heavily regulated industries is a plus

The applicable salary range for this position is $114,000 - $140,000 CAD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: extended medical, vision, and dental coverage; life insurance; disability insurance; a retirement program with employer contributions; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes 13 holidays and one (1) floating holiday. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with applicable Canadian law.
