THE POSITION

FanDuel is looking for a Legal Operations Senior Associate to drive innovation and efficiency across our Legal and Compliance initiatives. You will play a key role on the Legal Operations team, with full ownership over identifying opportunities for improvement in processes and automation within teams and driving projects through to delivery. This is an exciting opportunity to drive real impact within a team and contribute to a premier gaming company.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable processes to improve operational efficiency across the Legal Department.
  • Develop and document workflows and standard operating procedures.
  • Manage and optimize legal technology tools (e.g., contract lifecycle management, e-billing, and matter management systems).
  • Act as the primary liaison with IT, engineering and vendors for system implementation, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
  • Provide training and support for legal and compliance team members on tools and systems.
  • Lead and execute strategic legal operations projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and procurement, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Track and analyze key metrics to provide insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Prepare regular reports on legal spend, contract status, and other operational metrics.
  • Assist in managing legal and compliance vendors, including onboarding, performance tracking, and invoicing.
  • Support contract management processes, including intake, review coordination, and storage.

 

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • 3+ years of experience in legal operations, project management, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of legal technology systems (e.g., CLM, e-billing, matter management).
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with reporting tools.
  • Experience working in a corporate legal environment or with legal vendors is a plus.

    • Proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Knowledge of sports and/or experience working within a heavily regulated industry is a plus

The applicable salary range for this position is $74,000 - $101,200 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
