FanDuel is seeking a highly skilled HR Operations, Process and Technology Senior Manager to lead and optimize identifying and defining HR lifecycle processes and technology requirements. This role is responsible for managing HR projects, implementing and enhancing HR data and systems, overseeing the employee lifecycle and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
The ideal candidate is innovative, proactive and data-driven with a strong background in HR operations, process improvement, HR technology, data, compliance and project management with the ability to drive efficiencies through automation and innovation.

Process Optimization and Employee Lifecycle Management:
- Work cross-functionally to document and analyze existing HR employee lifecycle processes, workflows, and policies to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and areas for improvement
- Lead process design sessions to identify and develop requirements that leverage technology, enhance operations and employee experience
- Act as a change leader, driving continuous improvement initiatives within HR operations
- Establish metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of process improvements and ensure ongoing optimization
- Establish audit procedures and oversee HR data integrity, ensuring HR data is accurate, reliable, and actionable
- Lead a small team in the effective and efficient delivery of employee lifecycle activities and data integrity, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from onboarding to offboarding
- Maintain and improve HR documentation, policies, and SOPs to support operational excellence
- Keep abreast of changing regulations and ensure HR processes comply with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulation
- Manage and respond to audit requests, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
HRIS Optimization:
- Own the HRIS change request process, ensuring all system changes are evaluated, prioritized, tested, and implemented effectively and system, process and communication impacts of change requests and develop plans for addressing
- Lead project and change management activities for all HR Operations projects related to system implementations, upgrades, enhancements and process changes
- Develop and track detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, key decisions, action items
- Work cross-functionally to facilitate, define and document end-to-end business process design, system requirements and change management plan for all changes
- Coordinate and communicate project status updates to stakeholders and senior management
- Lead testing process including identifying testing scenarios, evaluating solutions and results
- Establish and enforce governance policies and audit procedures for HR technology updates, change requests, data management and user access controls
- Lead change management efforts, including stakeholder analysis, communication planning, and training to ensure smooth adoption of HR system and process changes
- Develop and implement communication and training materials on system updates and process updates
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement
THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- At least 5 years experience in HR Operations, HR Technology or related roles
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects
- Familiarity with Ceridian Dayforce or other similar HCM systems
- Strong experience in HRIS governance, change management, and system optimization
- Proven expertise in process improvement, workflow automation, and process enhancement
- Demonstrated ability to use data, analytics, and dashboards to drive decision-making and improve HR processes
- Ability to connect the dots and anticipate impacts
- Excellent facilitation and project management skills with experience in cross-functional HR initiatives
- Change management expertise to guide stakeholders through transitions effectively
- Analytical mindset to assess processes and recommend improvements
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and agile environment

The applicable salary range for this position is $138,000 - $173,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
