THE POSITION

FanDuel is looking for a Finance Manager to join our team in New York, who will focus on business partnering with Operations functions (Customer Service, Payments and Fraud). The candidate will possess a combination of technical, problem solving and communication skills who thrives in a rapidly changing environment. The position will report into the Finance Senior Manager.
THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play
- Act as Finance Manager supporting the Customer operations teams (customer service, Payments and Fraud)
- Provide financial decision support (budgeting/forecasting, variance analysis, identification of cost drivers) to ensure optimal achievement of targets. Drive improvements in operational efficiency by proactively streamlining processes and enhancing reporting and insights
- Key driver of headcount planning for Customer Operations, Payments and Fraud functions
- Analyze monthly, quarterly, annual business results, KPIs, trends, and provide critical business insights to the Group's leadership team
- Help lead the implementation of best practices to simplify, standardize and scale our business
- Provide quantified insights and propose solutions to areas of risk and opportunity to influence business strategy
- Address ad hoc financial analysis requests and inquiries
THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- Minimum 5 years of experience (preferably across Financial Analysis / Accounting / Commercial)
- MBA, Accounting and/or other finance professional certificates preferred
- Exceptional financial, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills; ability to distill financial data into clear and concise insights
- Ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities effectively in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment
- Exceptional organizational and relationship building skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
- Knowledge of sports and/or experience working within a heavily regulated industry is a plus

The applicable salary range for this position is $114,000 - $143,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
