FanDuel is hiring a Finance Director for its Casino Business Unit to lead financial strategy and operations. This role involves driving budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning while partnering with key teams to deliver insights that support growth and efficiency. The Finance Director will play a vital role in optimizing performance, managing costs, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
THE GAME PLAN

- Oversee financial strategy and operations as Finance Director for FanDuel Casino.
- Lead as the primary business partner, ensuring seamless collaboration between finance and key organizational stakeholders.
- Own and drive the Casino Business Unit Financial Planning lifecycle, including budgeting, forecasting, and outturn processes.
- Deliver strategic financial insights and decision support across budgeting, forecasting, customer investments, variance analysis, and cost management to achieve financial targets.
- Establish and maintain comprehensive, accurate reporting and analysis as the definitive source for P&L performance metrics, partnering with Commercial and Marketing teams.
- Collaborate with Corporate Finance to provide expertise on central cost areas critical to the Casino business.
- Enhance operational efficiency by streamlining and optimizing reporting processes (daily, monthly, quarterly) to enable timely investment decisions and robust outturn planning.
- Guide partner teams in evaluating ROI and outcomes of strategic investments and new business initiatives, ensuring alignment with Group-wide financial goals.
- Serve as a key finance authority on Casino content costs, providing actionable insights and collaborating with the Commercial Negotiations team to optimize P&L efficiency.
- Lead analyses of monthly, quarterly, and annual business results, KPIs, and trends, delivering critical insights to Group leadership in structured review sessions.
- Partner with Finance Business Partners and HR to manage and provide strategic insights on headcount and OPEX costs within the Casino P&L.
- Ensure precise reporting, analysis, and financial controls for Capital Expenditures.
- Identify and address risks and opportunities with quantified insights, shaping business strategy through data-driven solutions.
- Champion best practices in Finance Partnering through close collaboration with Corporate Finance colleagues.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive dynamics to ensure FanDuel Casino maintains strategic and operational excellence.
- Respond to ad hoc financial analysis needs with agility and precision to support organizational priorities.
THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- Minimum of 8 years of experience (preferably a mix of Accounting / Financial / Commercial analysis)
- Minimum of 3 years management experience
- MBA, Accounting and other finance professional certificates (such as CFA) preferred
- Exceptional financial, analytical and problem-solving skills
- An enthusiastic self-starter and proactive in approach to drive value in the day to day role
- Exceptional relationship building and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills; ability to distill financial data into clear and concise insights
- Ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities effectively in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
- Experience in gaming or entertainment a plus!

The applicable salary range for this position is $166,000 - $185,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
