THE POSITION

FanDuel is looking for an Events Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of events through effective project management, team coordination, and stakeholder collaboration. This role manages all aspects of event planning, from logistics and budgets to on-site operations, while providing strategic leadership support to Directors and Senior Associates. This position requires a highly organized and proactive leader capable of driving event success from inception to post-event evaluation while maintaining alignment with organizational goals.
THE GAME PLAN

- Manage project timelines, workflows, and task tracking to ensure event milestones are met.
- Lead the ideation and execution of experiential events, pop-ups, activations, and brand experiences.
- Oversee event design, ensuring an immersive and engaging experience for attendees.
- Oversee stakeholder and supplier approval processes to align with project objectives.
- Identify and assess project risks, escalating challenges to senior leadership for resolution.
- Track and reconcile event budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
- Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to manage contracts, POs, and vendor negotiations.
- Provide budget updates and financial insights throughout the event lifecycle.
- Coordinate with senior leadership to allocate team resources, delegate tasks, and manage timelines.
- Supervise deliverables, guide staff development, and oversee workload distribution.
- Act as a primary liaison for cross-functional teams to align event strategies with company goals.
- Manage creative briefs, branding initiatives, and the delivery of consistent event assets.
- Supervise outbound communications, including event messaging and attendee materials.
- Lead onsite operations, including schedules, logistics, and attendee experiences, while resolving any live-event challenges.
- Conduct post-event wrap meetings to document key learnings and develop executive summaries reporting event performance.
- Stay updated with industry trends and innovative event solutions.
THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- 4-6 years of experience in event management, project management, or related fields. Experience in event production is a plus
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale events.
- Strong budget management and vendor negotiation experience.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools (Cvent, Asana, SharePoint, etc.)
- Proven ability to manage teams and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel 75-80% to multiple live events annually.

The applicable salary range for this position is $99,000 - $136,400USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
