THE POSITION

The Enterprise SaaS Senior Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, management and support of Microsoft 365 technologies. This role requires a deep understanding of the Microsoft 365 products and solutions, security protocols, advanced troubleshooting, and administration of the service. The Senior Engineer will also play a critical role in leading projects, mentoring support engineers, and ensuring the service's scalability, security, and efficiency.
THE GAME PLAN

- Design, configure, and deploy enterprise-level configurations to our SaaS system (Microsoft 365) including security policies, productivity enhancements, etc.
- Provide technical leadership and subject matter expert (SME) support for functional requests relating to SaaS system (Micrsoft 365) in establishing robust service administration protocols within the system.
- Enhance third-party integrations and tooling from within the SaaS system
- Work with the organization in identifying, documenting, and supporting our business use cases for our evolving core services to promote optimal useability of SaaS system.
- Oversees management and development of the provisioning process, using any tools provided to facilitate the process.
- Collaborate with other key SaaS stakeholders to provide collective oversight of the SaaS platforms.
- Provide Tier 3 support for critical system issues and escalations, working to resolve problems quickly and minimize downtime.
- Have a good understanding of Integrations of SaaS platforms and the ability to provide guidance and implement such configurations.
- Monitors roadmap for upgrades to SaaS system and establishes the mechanisms by which we share relevant changes with our people.
- Works with the Internal Controls teams in ensuring content management policies for SaaS services are compliant and updated as business needs evolve.
- Works closely with the Security team, prioritizing safety of the company's systems and content.
- Identifies potential points of integration between SaaS platforms services on the core device-top and works with technical colleagues to deliver key integrations.
- Continually evaluates opportunities to improve our people's experience of technology, preferably in a scalable way.
- Coach and mentor other team members, providing training if required.
- Foster trust and builds relationships with the other Enterprise Technology teams.
- Attends regular vendor meetings for areas of expertise, stays informed of latest technology roadmaps, security notifications, and bug/hot fixes.
- Ensures vendors provide proper levels of support, maintain SLAs, and provide root cause analysis for escalated issues.
- Ensures all team, departmental and company policies and procedures are adhered to, including technical change management and service continuity.
- Where appropriate, attends user groups independently or with other leaders and makes recommendations of how improvements can be made.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required to meet company goals and objectives.
THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience with SaaS Application Engineering and ownership of Enterprise IT applications and tools (such as Atlassian, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, etc.).
- 5+ years of experience as the Subject matter expert (SME) on Microsoft 365 technologies, products, and concepts including but not limited to – Office 365 Identity Management, OneDrive, Power Automate, Power Apps, Defender, etc.
- Experience moving Microsoft 365 services from E3 to E5.
- Expertise knowledge on Microsoft 365 E5 features including advanced security, compliance, and analytics capabilities.
- A good knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with SSO best practices with SaaS application integrations.
- Familiarity with IT security best practices and compliance standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and junior team members.
- Strong technical and architectural skills.
- Project management and troubleshooting expertise.
- Must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation and occasional after-hours work for maintenance or emergencies.
- Must be willing to travel to office sites on a needs basis.

The applicable salary range for this position is $114,000 - $147,300, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
