THE POSITION

The Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) Team Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategy, development, and daily operations of the company’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Governance framework. This role will lead a team of professionals focused on establishing, implementing, and maintaining IGA best practices, ensuring that access to systems and data is managed securely and in compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations. The IGA Team Manager will play a critical role in protecting sensitive information by defining and enforcing access policies and leveraging technology to streamline identity lifecycle management.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IGA specialists, ensuring the team is motivated, aligned with strategic goals, and trained in best practices.
  • Set team objectives, evaluate performance, and provide coaching and professional development opportunities.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive IGA strategy aligned with business needs and security goals.
  • Establish and enforce policies, standards, and controls for user identity lifecycle, including provisioning, de-provisioning, role management, and access certification.
  • Ensure that IGA policies comply with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX, HIPAA).
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of IGA solutions, ensuring efficient operations and minimal disruption to business processes.
  • Oversee the configuration and customization of IGA solutions and tools to integrate applications, enabling accurate provisioning and deprovisioning of user access.
  • Continuously assess and improve identity and access processes, identifying opportunities for automation and enhancement.
  • Develop metrics and reporting mechanisms to track access control, policy adherence, and overall IGA effectiveness.
  • Partner with the larger Internal Controls organization, external auditors, and Security & Compliance teams to perform access reviews, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Monitor and mitigate risks related to unauthorized access, excessive permissions, and policy violations.
  • Implement, identify, and support proper Segregation of Duties (SoD) policies and internal controls to prevent vulnerabilities.
  • Address audit findings and work to reduce the risk associated with privileged and sensitive access.
  • Prioritize workload and outline based on categorization and criticality for the business.
  • Work closely with IT, Security, HR, and Business Units to align IGA practices with cross-functional needs and to address identity-related requirements.
  • Partner with vendors and external partners to stay updated on IGA advancements and evaluate potential solutions or enhancements.
  • Oversee the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of IGA tools (e.g., SailPoint, Zilla, Saviynt, or other IAM solutions).
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate IGA tools with existing infrastructure and ensure optimal performance and scalability.
  • Monitor developments in IAM and IGA technology and recommend investments in tools to enhance the program.

 

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master's degree or certifications like CISSP, CISM, or IAM-related certifications are a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), with a focus on Identity Governance, and at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of identity governance and administration concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience with Segregation of Duties (SoD) in relation to user access management and checks and balances applied to user access management.
  • Proficiency in IGA tools (e.g., Zilla, SailPoint, Saviynt, Microsoft Identity Manager).
  • Proficiency in IAM tools (e.g., Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, ForgeRock)
  • Strong understanding of IAM principles, SSO, MFA, RBAC, and PAM.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements (GDPR, SOX, HIPAA, PCI, and GLI).
  • Excellent communication, project management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinking and vision for IGA landscape and trends.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to the evolving cybersecurity threat landscape.
  • This position may require occasional travel.
  • Availability for on-call rotation to manage critical IGA incidents.

The applicable salary range for this position is $108,000 - $135,000, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
