THE POSITION

As an Enterprise IT Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of FanDuel’s IT infrastructure and systems. You will lead a team of skilled IT professionals, ensuring the successful delivery of projects, effective management of resources, and alignment of IT initiatives with business goals. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.


THE GAME PLAN

  • Lead and manage a team of IT engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance FanDuel’s SaaS platforms, MDM platforms, and applications to meet current and future business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, operations, security, and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of IT initiatives.
  • Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of complex IT projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and solutions to optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations, ensuring the timely delivery of products and services within budgetary constraints.
  • Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, driving efficiency and effectiveness within the IT organization.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact and recommending innovative solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team, resolving complex issues and facilitating knowledge sharing.

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in SaaS engineering, Mobile Device Management (MDM), complex platform integrations, and project management, with a focus on enterprise-scale environments.
  • Proven experience (2-3 years) in managing diverse technical teams in the domains of SaaS engineering and MDM.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a global, diverse team.
  • Proficient in design, architecture, delivery, support and administration of Saas platforms and MDM platforms (e.g., Atlassian, O365, Gsuite, JAMF, Intune, Azure), and configuration management tools.
  • Proficient in integration of SaaS platforms and MDM with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with enterprise software and application deployments, including ERP, CRM, and collaboration tools.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and make sound decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are a plus.

The applicable salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
