THE POSITION

FanDuel is looking for an Occupational Safety and Health specialist to support our Global Risk and Compliance team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing health strategies, whilst also supporting the delivery of our environmental objectives. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering a culture of safety. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders, risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives. THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Lead the implementation of Flutter’s global environmental, health and safety framework across Corporate Real Estate (CRE) and retail locations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal standards, driving consistency across all corporate and retail sites.
  • Develop and execute tailored EHS strategies through comprehensive risk assessments and actionable plans that meet business-specific needs and regulatory demands.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to embed a proactive safety culture and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Track and analyze EHS performance, delivering regular reports and insights to guide continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead safety training programs to elevate awareness and maintain high safety standards across the organization.
  • Act as a key point of contact for EHS matters, offering support and guidance to leadership and various teams.

You'll need excellent stakeholder management, organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to clearly communicate and present information to seek buy-in from senior leadership, who you will communicate with regularly.

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ industry experience in an environmental, occupational safety and health role, operational management, or related fields
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or equivalent certification is highly desirable
  • Proven experience in EHS management, preferably in CRE or retail areas a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety standards, environmental regulations, and best practices,
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills,
  • Self-motivation with a strong affinity for vision setting, strategic problem solving and driving action,
  • Ability to tell clear, compelling stories out of complex issues and analysis with influence and great presentation skills
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and stakeholders,
  • Strong IT skills – must be proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Ability to design processes in a face paced environment without a prescribed template
  • Passion for compliance and related disciplines
  • The ability to travel within the US and Globally when needs arise
  • Knowledge of sports and/or experience working within a heavily regulated industry is a plus

The applicable salary range for this position is $96,000 - $132,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
