THE POSITION

The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Senior Associate will report to and support our Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and be responsible for implementing positive change at FanDuel. As a Senior Associate on the DEI team you will develop, lead activities, and partner with key stakeholders to drive FanDuel’s DEI strategy, which includes:  Workforce Enhancements (implementing intentional measures  that work to increase and retain workforce diversity) and Inclusion & Culture (creating an equitable work culture where every individual feels valued and respected in an inclusive culture that embraces, celebrates, and amplifies diversity of thought, diversity of perspective, and diversity of experience).

This is a role for an organized, self-starter with experience partnering and managing projects with stakeholders and/or employee resource groups. This role will require gaining knowledge and an understanding of the company landscape; influencing and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clarity around and drive strategic priorities; working collaboratively with teams; planning events; and managing budgets.

THE GAME PLAN

Program and Event Coordination

  • Manage the team event calendars, including scheduling and logistics for Talent, Learning, Development, and DEI events.
  • Execute and support events, including workshops, training sessions, ERG activities, and DEI-sponsored initiatives.
  • Draft and send pre-event communications and reminders, ensuring smooth event execution.

Systems and Administrative Support

  • Support LMS (Learning Management System) operations, including tracking attendance, adding course sessions, troubleshooting, and managing activations/deactivations.
  • Ensure pre-training reminders and notifications are sent through automation tools.
  • Monitor team in-boxes and handle administrative tasks for programs, including onboarding, procurement, and vendor management.
  • Track and report on the internal recognition platform, including monthly and bi-weekly reporting to Finance and Payroll.

Data and Reporting

  • Pull and analyze data related to program completion, ERG events, and employee participation.
  • Compile updates for HRBP packs, FanDuel reports, and other team presentations.
  • Track and manage budgets for Talent, Learning, Development, and DEI initiatives.
  • Support regulatory deliverables and reporting for DEI initiatives.

Communications and Engagement

  • Draft communications for internal channels, such as newsletters, Slack, and firmwide updates.
  • Maintain and update internal platforms, including the DEI intranet site and learning channels.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement communication strategies for Talent and DEI programs.

General Program Support

  • Provide administrative support across Talent, Learning, Development, and DEI programs, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Assist with deck creation, data analysis, and presentations for program updates and initiatives.
  • Contribute to the execution of firmwide DEI and Talent strategies by supporting leadership programs and employee resource groups.
  • Identify external DEI trends, advise, and implement best practices in the DEI area

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant internship or up to 2 year of administrative/HR experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • A drive to complete tasks and drive projects, programs, and initiatives to completion
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS or learning management systems (LMS) is a plus.
  • Passion for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and interest in talent development.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in event coordination or project support.

The applicable hourly range for this position is $25.00- $34.50 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
