THE POSITION

FanDuel is looking for a Senior Manager to join the Data team. The Data team serves as a partner and advisor to all Business and Operational units at FanDuel. The team builds key data infrastructure, products, insights and Algorithms to help business units leverage data and insights in all aspects of customer experience and operational efficiencies. This is an exciting opportunity to join a group with significant exposure across the FanDuel business, as well as to the broader global company (Flutter Group). 

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Partner with the Data Exec team to help develop Data Strategy that is proactive and forward looking that facilitates building, supporting and deploying data driven initiatives within FanDuel.
  • Develop a deep understanding of FanDuel’s business to inform where the business can leverage data more effectively.
  • Collaborate with Data department leads to drive cross-functional initiatives and strategic planning
  • Build out and run the Data communication strategy for both within the Data team and for FanDuel at large.
  • Run Quarterly Business Reviews with Core Business Units.
  • Plan content for Quarterly Reviews with Vendors.
  • Partner closely with the Tech Strategy team as well as the FanDuel Strategy team to influence use of Data as a critical building block.
  • Work on independent strategic projects that influence the future state of Data usage within FanDuel

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in strategy consulting, internal strategy or business/corporate development at a Direct to Consumer company preferred
  • Ability to take broad direction, use initiative, and translate that into well-researched, actionable output
  • Hands-on experience working autonomously to deliver robust business cases, which draw on a mix of hard data and sensible assumptions. Strong numerical proficiency and analytical capability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; skilled at influencing and building relationships across the organization at all levels, including with senior leadership
  • Ability and desire to dive in and get your hands dirty with analysis. In this role, you will be required to both lead team projects and be an individual contributor
  • Ability to quickly develop a deep understanding of the industry and company will be critical to success. Prior knowledge of the Data space is preferred.

The applicable salary range for this position is $142,000 - $178,000, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
