FanDuel is looking for a Promotions Senior Marketing Manager, Daily Fantasy Sports Retention to drive our promotional strategy and customer retention. You will play a key role on the Customer Marketing team, with full ownership over key promotional strategy, and collaborate with multiple departments within the company including but not limited to Brand, Commercial, Growth, Product, and Customer Service. This is an exciting opportunity to help elevate revenue driving marketing initiatives at a premier gaming company.

Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Set strategy for the customer promotion roadmap and bonusing playbook across FanDuel’s Daily Fantasy Sports & Faceoff products
  • Lead the Daily Fantasy Sports and Faceoff Customer Marketing team in constantly optimizing our programs, looking for opportunities to improve reach and deliverability, optimize channel strategy, and improve operational efficiency
  • Set the strategic direction of retention programs, using data driven insights and a strong understanding of key business priorities
  • Drive a test & learn approach: lead the systematic creation and execution of testing plans, and ensure results get shared & implemented
  • Manage promotional budget in partnership with key Commercial stakeholders
  • Own lifecycle and retention strategy via CRM from ideation to execution to evaluation across email, mobile, onsite, and paid channels
  • Lead other team members in planning and managing the marketing calendar, with a priority on seasonality and FanDuel Group goals
  • Drive collaboration with key stakeholders to collaborate on campaigns and maintain a continuous feedback loop.
  • Optimize our programs, look for opportunities to improve reach and deliverability, define channel strategy, and improve operational efficiency
  • Recruit and identify top talent while creating an inspiring environment for direct reports to learn and grow
  • Lead customer marketing innovation by driving improvements in UX associated with promotions

What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Experience setting promotional calendar, managing bonus budget allocation, and optimizing strategy required
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in email and/or mobile marketing, with experience creating and managing Marketing campaigns from start to finish preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of management or mentorship experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of Customer Engagement Platform (Braze preferred)
  • Has a positive attitude and loves opportunities to collaborate with others
  • Strong organizational skills & effective at project management
  • Willing to work nontraditional hours, including weekends and evening shifts
  • Knowledge of sports and/or experience working within a heavily regulated industry is a plus
  • An avid sports and gaming fan, and have played FanDuel or competitive products

The applicable salary range for this position is $124,00 to $171,000 which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation.
