THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it

FanDuel is looking for an experienced Director of Content Distribution to lead and scale distribution of FanDuel TV (FDTV) content across digital streaming and social platforms. FanDuel TV produces and distributes a wide variety of racing and sports content including 24/7 linear channels, studio programming (Up & Adams, Run It Back) and live bet-able sports. 

This role is instrumental in partnering with FanDuel TV production teams to get our content out to larger audiences with deeper engagement, ensuring brand presence and cut through in the sports media landscape. You will lead syndication efforts for studio programming (Up & Adams, Run It Back) on streaming platforms such as YouTube and Max, and other digital distribution channels (e.g. TruTV, NBA TV). The content distribution team also manages all FDTV social handles including Up and Adams, Run It Back, and FanDuel Racing, and across all platforms including YouTube, Facebook/Instagram, and X/Twitter. The ideal candidate will coordinate with production teams and take ownership of distribution strategies that optimize audience reach and engagement, whilst also overseeing a team of social media specialists. 

THE GAME PLAN

  • Define and execute the FanDuel TV content distribution strategy to ensure maximum reach and engagement with our content across digital channels
  • Develop a strong understanding of the FanDuel customer and audience for FanDuel TV content to drive distribution decisions
  • Partner with commercial leadership to define and track content distribution objectives and KPIs
  • Work closely with TV production teams, providing guidance and thought leadership on content that will more effectively engage digital audiences
  • Build and manage relationships with digital syndication partners and social content platforms to identify opportunities to grow content reach and new syndication opportunities
  • Manage marketing budget, in partnership with marketing team, to ensure optimal allocation of spend to grow audience for FanDuel TV properties across social and digital channels
  • Lead, mentor and manage a team of social media specialists, providing feedback to drive continuous improvement and achieve department goals
  • Partner with FanDuel central Social Content team to ensure alignment to overall goals and standards, including opportunities for cross-collaboration

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • 8+ years of experience in content distribution, digital marketing, or related fields
  • At least 5 years in a leadership role with multiple direct reports 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred 
  • A great colleague and teammate — someone that people want to work with because of their humility and passion 
  • Proven track record of successful content distribution campaigns that drove engagement and conversions
  • Expertise and understanding of content distribution tools and analytics platforms to be able to develop KPIs and track content performance 
  • A strategic mindset and structured approach to problem solving, with ability and eagerness to effectively balance the big-picture strategic work with execution 
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and succinctly to senior stakeholders through effective written and oral communication

The applicable salary range for this position is $144,000 - $198,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
