THE POSITION

FanDuel is looking for a Manager to drive our commercial strategy & objectives for the company’s newest product, FanDuel Faceoff. You will play a key role on the Faceoff team, with ownership of the product’s strategic direction, budgeting & forecasting, and day-to-day operations. You will collaborate with multiple functions within FanDuel including, but not limited to Product, Acquisition & Retention Marketing, Finance, Legal, & Analytics. This is an exciting opportunity to help elevate a new product & a new industry at a premier gaming company.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Work with Head of Faceoff to define short- and long-term growth strategy for Faceoff and partner with Product & Marketing stakeholders to plan & execute against the strategy
  • Build forecast of annual Faceoff revenue & costs that will serve as financial target against which the business will be evaluated
  • Define key success metrics for Faceoff that will be used to evaluate the business & to influence the decisions made by the broader Faceoff team
  • Work with members of the Commercial & Analytics teams to produce insights and identify drivers of Faceoff performance
  • Manage the operational planning for major Faceoff projects & own communication of progress against those plans to senior stakeholders
  • Develop relationships with external partner; work with broader team to ensure companies are aligned on product direction & are executing
  • Present Faceoff strategy, results, & recommendations to functional leaders with focus on Group-wide impact & outcomes
  • Develop a deep understanding of FanDuel’s business, with a focus on emerging markets & trends, and the regulatory environment under which FanDuel and its competitors operate
  • As necessary, support the broader New Ventures team in the identification, assessment, and prioritization of new product & partnership opportunities

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • 4+ years’ experience working in an investment banking, strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or similarly strategic role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong analytical proficiency & Excel-based modeling experience
  • Proficiency building presentations & ability to distill complex information into digestible takeaways for various levels of the organization
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous environment
  • Understanding of or the ability to quickly understand the many functions required to launch & operate a tech product
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; skilled at influencing and building relationships internally & externally, across all levels of the organization
  • Experience working in the real-money gaming industry or in an adjacent industry preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of and interest in sports and technology preferred; ability to quickly develop a deep understanding of the industry and company will be critical to success

The applicable salary range for this position is $104,000 - $130,000, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
