THE POSITION

We are seeking a Commercial Associate to drive strategic initiatives on our Commercial Strategy team. This role will develop and execute growth and operational improvement initiatives while collaborating across departments including Marketing, Finance, VIP, Payments & Fraud, Responsible Gambling, Analytics, and Product.

The ideal candidate is proactive, well-organized, and highly collaborative, combining sharp attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities and exceptional communication skills. This position is based in Toronto, Canada.

 

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Help establish strategic priorities, develop comprehensive plans, and lead cross-functional execution initiatives.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual business forecasts, including performance reporting and analysis to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Design and implement optimization projects that enhance customer experience and internal operations, from conception through implementation.
  • Keep a pulse on competitive landscape and industry trends to identify opportunities and inform strategic planning.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships to ensure successful project delivery and achievement of business objectives.

 

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or other analytical fields (or other relevant disciplines)
  • 2+ years of career experience in consulting, finance, marketing, or similar commercial role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and SQL (other data skills or experience desirable)
  • Highly diligent and attentive to detail, deadlines, and requirements
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • History of performance in fast-paced environments, managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrated interest and passion for the online sportsbook / gaming industry

The applicable salary range for this position is $62,000 - $85,800 CAD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: extended medical, vision, and dental coverage; life insurance; disability insurance; a retirement program with employer contributions; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes 13 holidays and two (2) floating holidays.  FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with applicable Canadian law.
