THE POSITION

We are looking for a Senior Manager with rich experience in budget and investment management to lead our Casino media investment planning and strategy; setting channel targets by state steeped in data and sound commercial reasoning. The role will also be responsible for progressing our media modeling and reporting infrastructure alongside our Media & Data Science teams, delivering meaningful insights about our media mix that will drive meaningful revenue growth.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play
- Deliver investment targets to the Casino Media Team, collaborating with channel leads to continually refine targets and deliver best-in-class paid media, utilizing a deep understanding of the nuances of each paid media channel.
- Lead the media testing roadmap, delivering actionable incrementality insights that accelerate our understanding and the efficiency of our investment.
- Collaborate with the Data Science and Media Operations team to further deepen our understanding and deployment of Media Mix Modelling across paid channels.
- Lead and refine our approach to attribution.
- Have a strong view with solid reasoning on where our overall level of investment should be, working closely with the Commercial, Forecasting and Finance teams ensure our investment strategy aligns with broader business priorities.
- Lead the analysis and reporting of our overall investment deployment and strategy, sharing and presenting information from key programs to audiences of differing seniorities.
- Evolve our understanding of the competitive landscape, providing guidance to the team on suggested investment adjustments based on media pressure seen in market.
- Manage & integrate external partners within different business areas to elevate the results from paid media.
- Comprehensively document best practices, tactics and topics for the wider team to use as a resource.
THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- 6+ years’ experience working with performance marketing and media metrics (CPM, CPI, CPA, CPC, ROAS & LTV) and understanding of the utilization and relationship between them.
- Meaningful experience managing paid media channels and managing large multi-million-dollar budgets.
- Bachelor's degree with strong academic record and/or proven relevant experience in a performance marketing role at either an agency or on the operator side.
- Analytically driven with strong understanding of underlying data and methodologies used to inform decision making and drive performance management; a data-driven decision maker.
- Strong knowledge of attribution models and measurement methodologies across various media platforms.
- Experience building a strong measurement practice across audience segmentation analysis, tactic evaluation, testing roadmaps, and incrementality testing.
- Advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Ability to succinctly communicate both verbally and in writing and provide clear direction on projects.
- Ability to interface with a wide range of internal teams and ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
- Meticulous attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, project management skills, and ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Knowledge or understanding of the business and culture of sports and gaming preferred.
- Experience working across multiple businesses within a larger corporate structure is preferred.
- Willing to work nontraditional hours, including weekends and evening shifts when applicable.

The applicable salary range for this position is $118,000 - $155,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
